WHAT YOU’LL DO:

- Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be checking in with a team in India one minute, meeting with leadership to review initiatives for the coming quarter later and tomorrow handling a few ad hoc requests from your peers in other departments.
- Influence and inspire confidence. You are comfortable presenting to senior leaders, product owners, and peers with a compelling voice that you demonstrate through executive presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-level communications on milestone achievements.
- Challenges. Inevitable challenges will arise, and we’ll rely on you to look for a solution.
- Responsibilities – Plan, execute and deliver of top-quality software deliverables on-time. Work on ADP’s DataCloud solution that encompasses Reporting, Analytics, and Benchmarks features. Work on technical integrations with backend APIs with internal and external teams. Develop and code applications and/or components, while also supporting cloud-native solutions. Support production software operations and test and debug programs, applications, systems, platforms, and integration architectures. Support large-scale applications using microservices and web technologies ensuring adherence to modern software development practices and security best practices. Utilize experience with database systems, relational, document, and key-value stores to build highly-intelligence systems and applications.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Education & Experience Requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus three (3) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master’s degree and one (1) year of related experience.
- Work Experience. One (1) year of experience must include: Java; J2EE; SQL Data Store – Oracle; Eclipse IDE; Server-side application frameworks, including JSP, Servlet and Spring; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Unit testing frameworks, including Junit and Jest; Application, system, platform and/or integration architectures; Modern software development best practices; Event-driven and serverless architectures; Cloud-native solutions; Large-scale applications using microservices; Building applications with multiple technologies and platforms; Database systems; and Relational, document, and key-value stores.
