ADP is hiring a Senior Director of Product Development ADP Assist (a GenAI Initiative).

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the GenAI initiative at ADP. You and your team of 10-15 talented technologists will be responsible for the development, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of our ADP Assist experience across all ADP products and solutions. You will focus on leveraging generative AI technologies to drive innovation, improve client experiences, and optimize business processes. The successful candidate will have a background in AI and machine learning, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI models, natural language processing, and deep learning frameworks.
No two days are the same as you work with your team, business leaders, and project management to understand our next wave of work. To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be an AI-native with a solid understanding of technologies, including large language models, neural networks, data pipelines, and AI-driven analytics. A strong understanding and experience with cloud-based AI platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, is critical.
You have experience in a large, complex AI environment that is constantly evolving. You will work with both Product Development and Product Management across multiple Business Units to help them achieve their goals for our clients. What You’ll Do:
Lead GenAI Strategy and Vision:
– Develop and execute the overall strategy for ADP’s Generative AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
– Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to keep ADP at the forefront of innovation.
Oversee Development and Deployment:
– Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of GenAI projects, from ideation and development to deployment and ongoing optimization.
– Ensure robust and scalable AI models are built, tested, and deployed efficiently.
Drive Innovation:
– Identify opportunities to leverage generative AI technologies to improve client experiences and optimize business processes.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into existing products and platforms.
Build and Lead a High-Performing Team:
– Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of AI researchers, data scientists, and engineers.
– Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
Ensure Operational Excellence:
– Establish best practices for AI development, including data governance, model validation, and performance monitoring.
– Implement robust processes for model management, versioning, and deployment to ensure reliability and scalability.
Collaborate with Stakeholders:
– Work closely with Product Development, Product Management, and other business units to understand client needs and translate them into AI solutions.
– Communicate effectively with senior leadership to report on progress, challenges, and opportunities related to GenAI initiatives.
Champion AI Ethics and Compliance:
– Ensure that all AI solutions adhere to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
– Promote responsible AI practices within the organization.
Monitor and Optimize Performance:
– Utilize AI-driven analytics to monitor the performance and impact of GenAI solutions.
– Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of AI models.
Promote a Culture of Learning:
– Encourage ongoing education and professional development within the team.
– Organize knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and training programs on the latest AI trends and technologies.
